The Fox ESS KH9.9 is a high-performance 9.9kW single-phase hybrid inverter designed for larger residential solar and battery storage systems. Part of the Fox ESS KH Series, it combines high solar input capacity, high-voltage battery compatibility and intelligent energy management with backup power capability.
The KH Series supports remote system monitoring and management, with FoxCloud V2.0 providing access through a smartphone or web portal. The inverter is IP65 rated, making it suitable for appropriately installed indoor or outdoor applications.
The KH9.9 specifications in the Australian datasheet identify it as a distinct 9,900VA model within the KH range.
The KH9.9 is designed to operate with compatible high-voltage lithium-ion battery systems. The specified battery voltage range is 85β480V, with up to 50A charge and discharge current and CAN/RS485 communications.
When installed with a compatible battery system, the KH Series provides EPS functionality for backup applications. The platform supports a switching time of less than 10ms and parallel operation of up to 10 compatible units.
System performance can be remotely monitored through FoxCloud V2.0 using a smartphone or web portal. The inverter provides communication options including Wi-Fi, RS485, CT, DRM and USB, with optional 4G connectivity.

Warranty Claim Process
In the unfortunate event that you encounter a faulty product, we want to make the warranty claim process as seamless as possible for you. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
If damage is confirmed to be from normal wear-and-tear, drops, unauthorized repairs, or other non-warranty factors, service and shipping fees will apply. In such cases, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with paid repairs.
Unfortunately we cannot provide loaner units during the warranty repair process. For mission-critical equipment, we highly recommend purchasing backup units to prevent downtime in case of defects.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return:
Upon receiving your order, we kindly request that you thoroughly inspect all packages within 7 days of delivery. This inspection period is crucial as it allows you ample time to identify any visible damage caused during transit. Please keep in mind that promptly reporting any freight damage is vital in safeguarding your right to file a claim and ensuring a swift resolution.

The advertised price for this product includes the applicable STC battery rebate, applied as a pre-discount at the time of purchase.
To be eligible for the battery rebate:
Supply-only purchases are not eligible for the battery rebate.
By proceeding with this purchase, the customer agrees to assign all eligible Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) associated with the battery installation to Solar Battery Supermarket (or its nominated agent).
This assignment allows the rebate to be applied as a point-of-sale discount.
If the customer does not agree to assign the STCs, the full non-rebated price of the battery system will apply.
Installation by a licensed and accredited installer is mandatory to qualify for the rebate-adjusted price.
Standard metro installation is available from $500, subject to property assessment.
Additional works (including switchboard upgrades, long cable runs, or non-standard installations) may incur extra charges and will be quoted and approved prior to installation.
