One of the Wattpilot Flex Home's biggest advantages is its advanced solar integration.
When configured with the required PV optimisation components, the 22 C6 can dynamically charge from approximately 1.38kW through to 22kW, automatically switching between single-phase and three-phase operation.
This allows the charger to respond to changing levels of available solar generation instead of requiring enough surplus solar to maintain three-phase charging continuously.
That makes the Wattpilot particularly attractive for solar households wanting to maximise the amount of their own solar energy going directly into their EV.
Please note: Additional components are required for PV-optimised charging.
The Wattpilot Flex includes Dynamic Load Balancing capability, allowing charging power to be intelligently managed according to the electrical load of the property.
Rather than allowing the EV charger and household appliances to compete for available electrical capacity, the system can dynamically adjust EV charging.
The Wattpilot Flex supports Dynamic Load Balancing across an unlimited number of charging boxes, making the platform suitable for homes with multiple EVs as well as larger charging installations.
Please note: An internet connection and additional components are required for Dynamic Load Balancing.
Control and manage your Wattpilot through the Solar.wattpilot app.
Smart connectivity allows the Wattpilot to form part of an intelligent home charging system rather than operating as a basic plug-and-charge wallbox.
The charger includes Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity, RFID authentication and OCPP 1.6J communication.
Connected to a suitable three-phase electrical supply, the Wattpilot Flex Home 22 C6 delivers up to:
22kW – 400/415V Three Phase – 32A
It can also operate on single phase at up to:
7.36kW – 230/240V Single Phase – 32A
The charging current is configurable from 6A to 32A.
Actual charging speed depends on the vehicle's onboard AC charger, available electrical supply and installation configuration.
The Wattpilot Flex Home 22 C6 comes with an integrated:
6m Type 2 charging cable
The generous cable length provides additional flexibility when positioning the charger in garages, carports and driveways.
With an IP66 protection rating and IK08 impact resistance, the Wattpilot Flex is designed for both indoor and outdoor installations.
Operating temperature range is -25°C to +45°C, making it suitable for a wide range of Australian residential environments.
