The SolarEdge ONE EV Charger is an advanced multiphase smart EV charging solution designed for both residential and commercial applications. The same charger supports single-phase and three-phase installations, delivering up to 7.4kW on single-phase or 22kW on three-phase, depending on the electrical supply and vehicle charging capability.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with the SolarEdge ecosystem, the ONE EV Charger can intelligently coordinate EV charging with solar generation, household energy consumption and electricity tariffs to help maximise solar self-consumption and reduce reliance on grid electricity.
One charger provides the flexibility to suit different electrical installations.
Single Phase: Up to 7.4kW at 32A
Three Phase: Up to 22kW at 32A per phase
SolarEdge specifies the charger for 1 or 3-phase grid connections, with a configurable charging current of 6A to 32A per phase and a maximum rated AC output of 22kW.
This makes the SolarEdge ONE EV Charger an excellent option for customers who currently have single-phase power as well as properties equipped with three-phase power.
Connect the SolarEdge ONE EV Charger to a compatible SolarEdge energy system and use excess solar generation to charge your electric vehicle.
The charger supports automatic switching for excess PV charging, allowing the system to intelligently adapt EV charging according to available solar energy.
Instead of simply exporting surplus solar to the grid, more of that energy can be directed into your EV when available.
SolarEdge ONE brings EV charging into the wider SolarEdge smart-energy ecosystem.
Smart scheduling enables advanced charging plans during periods of lower electricity prices, while import limitation can be used for peak shaving and improved management of the property's available grid capacity.
Monitor and manage EV charging through SolarEdge apps.
Users can:
Remotely control charging
Create and update charging schedules
View charging history
Manage charging access
Monitor EV charging as part of the SolarEdge energy ecosystem
The integrated RFID reader provides additional control over who can use the charger.
Charging authentication can be managed through the built-in RFID reader, SolarEdge mobile app or simple plug-and-play operation.
This makes the charger suitable for private homes as well as workplaces and other installations where charging access may need to be controlled.
The socket version features a Type 2 EV charging connection rated up to 32A / 400V AC, compliant with EN 62196-1.
Because this model uses a socket rather than a permanently tethered cable, customers can connect an appropriate Type 2 charging cable of their preferred length.
The SolarEdge ONE EV Charger offers flexible network connectivity, including:
WiFi – IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, 2.4GHz
Ethernet – RJ45
Bluetooth – BLE 4.2
RFID – ISO/IEC 14443 Type A
ISO 15118 hardware-ready
The ONE EV Charger is designed to integrate with compatible SolarEdge residential energy systems.
Compatible equipment listed by SolarEdge includes:
SolarEdge Home Hub Inverters
SolarEdge Home Wave Inverters
SolarEdge Short String Inverters
Compatible SolarEdge Three Phase Inverters
This integration allows the EV charger, solar system and other compatible SolarEdge energy devices to work together as part of a smarter home energy system.
The compact charger is designed for both indoor and outdoor installations.
It features an IP54 enclosure rating and IK08 mechanical impact protection, with an operating temperature range from -30°C to +50°C.
The enclosure measures just 235 × 230 × 130mm, providing a clean and compact installation on garage or external walls.
The SolarEdge ONE EV Charger incorporates a 6mA DC residual current detecting device (RDC-DD) compliant with IEC 62955, along with Category III over-voltage protection.

The manufacturer's datasheet confirms the 1/3-phase connection, 22kW maximum output, 6–32A current range and other electrical specifications. The 7.4kW single-phase figure is the calculated maximum at 230V × 32A (7.36kW) rather than a separately stated figure in the supplied SolarEdge datasheet.
The SolarEdge ONE EV Charger combines 7.4kW single-phase and 22kW three-phase capability in one multiphase charger, making it a flexible solution for different property power supplies.
For SolarEdge customers, its biggest advantage is intelligent integration with the wider SolarEdge ecosystem. EV charging can be coordinated with excess solar production, electricity pricing and household energy requirements rather than operating as an isolated load.
With smart solar charging, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, RFID access control, app-based management and up to 22kW three-phase charging, the SolarEdge ONE EV Charger provides a powerful upgrade for homes and businesses moving toward electric vehicles.
