The SolaX Smart EV Charger G2 22kW (X3-HAC-22P) is a high-performance three-phase EV charger designed for fast, intelligent EV charging at homes, workplaces and commercial properties.
Delivering up to 22kW of AC charging power, the X3-HAC-22 combines fast EV charging with intelligent solar energy management, helping compatible solar and battery systems make better use of available renewable energy.
The SolaX Smart EV Charger G2 is designed to operate as part of an integrated energy system incorporating solar PV, battery storage, household loads, EV charging and the electricity grid.
Its intelligent energy-management capabilities include dynamic load balancing, support for 100% green energy charging, and maximising surplus renewable energy utilisation in zero-export systems.
This makes the 22kW G2 an excellent choice for properties that want both fast EV charging and intelligent use of their solar generation.

The X3-HAC-22 operates from a 400V three-phase supply with an adjustable charging current of 6–32A and charging output ranging from approximately 1.4kW to 22kW.
For compatible electric vehicles, the higher output can significantly reduce charging times compared with lower-powered AC chargers.
Actual charging speed will depend on the vehicle's maximum AC charging capability, available electrical capacity and installation configuration.
The Smart EV Charger G2 provides extensive communication and integration options, including:
Wi-Fi
Ethernet
Optional 4G
2 × RS485
OCPP 1.6J
Modbus TCP
Modbus RTU
Cloud API
Users can remotely monitor and control charging through the App and web interface. Charging authentication is available through Plug & Charge, RFID or the App.
For properties with solar generation, the SolaX Smart EV Charger G2 can help increase solar self-consumption by directing available renewable energy towards EV charging.
The charger is designed to integrate with the wider energy system, including PV generation, battery storage, household loads and CT/meter monitoring.
The system is capable of 100% green energy charging and is designed to maximise surplus green energy utilisation in a zero-export system.
Dynamic load balancing allows the charger to intelligently manage EV charging alongside other electrical loads at the property.
This is particularly useful with a powerful 22kW three-phase charger, where managing available electrical capacity can help prevent the EV charger from unnecessarily competing with other high-demand appliances.
The SolaX Smart EV Charger G2 incorporates multiple electrical protection features, including:
Over-voltage protection
Under-voltage protection
Overload protection
Short-circuit protection
Current leakage protection
Grounding protection
Surge protection
Over-temperature protection
Integrated 30mA AC and 6mA DC current failure monitoring
Relay weld detection
Theft protection
The compact charger measures 206 × 390 × 139mm and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
The plug version is IP65 rated, while the socket version is IP54 rated. The housing also provides an IK10 impact rating for additional durability.
