The SolaX Smart EV Charger G2 7kW is an intelligent single-phase EV charging solution designed to help homeowners charge their electric vehicle efficiently while making better use of their solar energy.
With charging power of up to 7.2kW, the X1-HAC-7 is ideally suited to Australian homes with a single-phase electrical supply. When integrated into a compatible solar energy system, the charger can maximise the use of surplus renewable energy, helping reduce reliance on grid electricity and make EV charging more cost-effective.
The SolaX Smart EV Charger G2 is designed to work as part of a complete home energy ecosystem incorporating solar PV, battery storage, household loads, EV charging and the electricity grid.
Its intelligent energy management features include dynamic load balancing, support for 100% green energy charging, and the ability to maximise surplus solar energy in a zero-export system.
This makes it an excellent addition to a solar and battery system — instead of sending excess solar generation back to the grid, available energy can be directed towards charging your EV.

The X1-HAC-7 operates at 230V single phase with a 6–32A output range and charging power from 1.4kW up to 7.2kW.
Monitor and control charging through the SolaX App and web platform. The charger supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, optional 4G and dual RS485 connectivity, along with OCPP 1.6J and Modbus communication protocols.
Charging can be authorised using Plug & Charge, RFID or the App, making the charger suitable for residential installations as well as destination and public charging applications.
The 7kW X1-HAC-7 is a practical choice for homes with single-phase power, providing significantly faster EV charging than a standard household power outlet while avoiding the need for a three-phase 22kW charger installation.
For homes with solar, the charger becomes part of the home's energy-management system, intelligently coordinating EV charging with available renewable energy and household electricity demand.

The compact charger measures just 206 × 390 × 139mm and is designed for indoor or outdoor installation. The plug version provides an IP65 degree of protection, while the socket version is rated IP54. The housing is rated IK10 for impact resistance.

Warranty Claim Process
In the unfortunate event that you encounter a faulty product, we want to make the warranty claim process as seamless as possible for you. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
If damage is confirmed to be from normal wear-and-tear, drops, unauthorized repairs, or other non-warranty factors, service and shipping fees will apply. In such cases, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with paid repairs.
Unfortunately we cannot provide loaner units during the warranty repair process. For mission-critical equipment, we highly recommend purchasing backup units to prevent downtime in case of defects.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return:
Upon receiving your order, we kindly request that you thoroughly inspect all packages within 7 days of delivery. This inspection period is crucial as it allows you ample time to identify any visible damage caused during transit. Please keep in mind that promptly reporting any freight damage is vital in safeguarding your right to file a claim and ensuring a swift resolution.
Should you identify any freight damage during the inspection, we urge you to notify us immediately. Our customer support team is ready to assist you through the claim filing process and provide the necessary guidance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The advertised price for this product includes the applicable STC battery rebate, applied as a pre-discount at the time of purchase.
To be eligible for the battery rebate:
Supply-only purchases are not eligible for the battery rebate.
By proceeding with this purchase, the customer agrees to assign all eligible Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) associated with the battery installation to Solar Battery Supermarket (or its nominated agent).
This assignment allows the rebate to be applied as a point-of-sale discount.
If the customer does not agree to assign the STCs, the full non-rebated price of the battery system will apply.
Installation by a licensed and accredited installer is mandatory to qualify for the rebate-adjusted price.
Standard metro installation is available from $500, subject to property assessment.
Additional works (including switchboard upgrades, long cable runs, or non-standard installations) may incur extra charges and will be quoted and approved prior to installation.
