The SolaX X3-ULTRA is a high-performance three-phase commercial and industrial hybrid inverter designed for larger solar, battery storage and backup power systems.
Available in 15kW, 19.9kW, 20kW, 25kW and 30kW capacities, the X3-ULTRA combines high PV input capability, dual battery connections, powerful 60A battery charging and discharging, EPS backup, generator and microgrid compatibility and advanced smart energy management.
With up to 200% PV oversizing, up to 110% AC output, 200% EPS overload for 10 seconds and the ability to parallel up to 10 units, the X3-ULTRA provides a highly scalable platform for demanding commercial and larger residential energy-storage applications.

The X3-ULTRA is specifically classified by SolaX as a three-phase C&I hybrid inverter.
It combines solar PV, high-voltage lithium battery storage, grid power and EPS backup capability within one integrated platform, making it suitable for applications requiring substantially greater power and storage capacity than a standard residential hybrid inverter.
The X3-ULTRA supports up to 200% PV oversizing, allowing a significantly larger solar array to be connected relative to the inverter's rated AC output.

This high PV capacity makes the X3-ULTRA particularly well suited to installations where substantial daytime solar generation and battery charging are required.
The X3-ULTRA is designed for modern high-power solar modules, supporting up to 36A PV input current per MPPT.

Depending on the selected model, the X3-ULTRA provides either two or three independent MPPT trackers.
The 15K and 19.9K models use two MPPTs with two strings per MPPT, while certain other models provide three MPPTs with two strings per tracker. The exact configuration should be checked against the selected model in the datasheet.
This provides greater flexibility when designing larger solar arrays across different roof orientations or PV sections.
The X3-ULTRA supports high-voltage lithium battery storage across a wide 120โ800V DC battery operating range.

The datasheet notes compatibility with a minimum of three HS Series battery units, subject to system voltage and startup conditions. Battery compatibility should always be confirmed for the intended system configuration.

SolaX specifies support for up to 10 units operating in parallel for both on-grid and off-grid applications.

Warranty Claim Process
In the unfortunate event that you encounter a faulty product, we want to make the warranty claim process as seamless as possible for you. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
If damage is confirmed to be from normal wear-and-tear, drops, unauthorized repairs, or other non-warranty factors, service and shipping fees will apply. In such cases, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with paid repairs.
Unfortunately we cannot provide loaner units during the warranty repair process. For mission-critical equipment, we highly recommend purchasing backup units to prevent downtime in case of defects.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return:
Upon receiving your order, we kindly request that you thoroughly inspect all packages within 7 days of delivery. This inspection period is crucial as it allows you ample time to identify any visible damage caused during transit. Please keep in mind that promptly reporting any freight damage is vital in safeguarding your right to file a claim and ensuring a swift resolution.
Should you identify any freight damage during the inspection, we urge you to notify us immediately. Our customer support team is ready to assist you through the claim filing process and provide the necessary guidance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The advertised price for this product includes the applicable STC battery rebate, applied as a pre-discount at the time of purchase.
To be eligible for the battery rebate:
Supply-only purchases are not eligible for the battery rebate.
By proceeding with this purchase, the customer agrees to assign all eligible Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) associated with the battery installation to Solar Battery Supermarket (or its nominated agent).
This assignment allows the rebate to be applied as a point-of-sale discount.
If the customer does not agree to assign the STCs, the full non-rebated price of the battery system will apply.
Installation by a licensed and accredited installer is mandatory to qualify for the rebate-adjusted price.
Standard metro installation is available from $500, subject to property assessment.
Additional works (including switchboard upgrades, long cable runs, or non-standard installations) may incur extra charges and will be quoted and approved prior to installation.
To assess eligibility and proceed with installation, the customer may be required to provide:
