Power your home with solar, battery storage and intelligent backup using the Sungrow SH6.0RS 6kW Hybrid Inverter.
Designed for Australian residential solar and battery systems, the SH6.0RS combines a 6kW single-phase inverter, high-voltage battery interface, smart energy management and fast backup capability in one compact unit.
With support for up to 13kW of solar panels, a wide 80–460V battery range, dual MPPTs and less than 10ms backup switching, the SH6.0RS is an excellent choice for homeowners wanting to maximise solar self-consumption and increase energy independence.
The SH6.0RS combines solar generation and battery storage management in one intelligent hybrid inverter.
It is designed for both new solar installations and battery retrofit applications, giving homeowners flexibility to install a complete solar-and-storage system now or integrate battery storage into a suitable system.
Get more from your rooftop.
The 6kW SH6.0RS supports up to an impressive 13,000Wp recommended maximum PV input, allowing significant solar-panel oversizing.
With two independent MPPTs, the inverter can accommodate panels across different roof orientations while helping optimise solar generation throughout the day.
Pair your solar system with compatible high-voltage lithium-ion battery storage.
The SH6.0RS supports:
80–460V battery voltage
Up to 30A charging
Up to 30A discharging
Up to 6.6kW battery charge/discharge power
Fast battery charging and discharging helps capture more excess solar generation during the day and make that stored energy available when the home needs it.
Keep essential circuits powered when the grid goes down when the inverter is installed with an appropriate battery and backup configuration.
The SH6.0RS provides a backup switching time of less than 10 milliseconds, delivering an extremely fast transition from grid-connected operation to backup mode.
Backup capability includes:
6kW / 6kVA rated off-grid output
8.4kVA peak output for 10 seconds
<10ms backup switching
230V backup supply
The additional short-duration peak capacity is particularly useful for loads with higher startup requirements.
The SH6.0RS features Sungrow's built-in Energy Management System (EMS), allowing solar generation, battery storage, household consumption and grid electricity to be intelligently managed.
Sungrow specifically highlights fast charging and discharging for higher self-consumption and advanced EMS customisation as key features of the SH-RS platform.

Warranty Claim Process
In the unfortunate event that you encounter a faulty product, we want to make the warranty claim process as seamless as possible for you. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
If damage is confirmed to be from normal wear-and-tear, drops, unauthorized repairs, or other non-warranty factors, service and shipping fees will apply. In such cases, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with paid repairs.
Unfortunately we cannot provide loaner units during the warranty repair process. For mission-critical equipment, we highly recommend purchasing backup units to prevent downtime in case of defects.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
