The Trina Solar Vertex S+ TSM-475NEG9RH.28 is a high-efficiency 475W N-type i-TOPCon dual-glass solar panel designed for residential and commercial rooftop systems. Built on Trina Solar’s 210 platform, the 475W model reaches 23.8% module efficiency while maintaining a compact 1762 × 1134 mm footprint.
Its lightweight dual-glass construction, black anodised aluminium frame and strong mechanical load capability make it well suited to Australian rooftop installations where efficiency, durability and ease of handling are important.

23.8% module efficiency
N-type i-TOPCon monocrystalline technology
Dual-glass construction
96-cell configuration
Black anodised aluminium alloy frame
Stäubli EVO2 / EVO2A connectors
Low Pmax temperature coefficient: -0.29%/°C
Mechanical load up to 5400 Pa front / 4000 Pa rear
Suitable for residential and C&I rooftops
The TSM-475NEG9RH.28 delivers 475W output with 23.8% module efficiency under STC conditions.
Trina Solar uses patented N-type i-TOPCon technology with improvements in contact resistance, rear reflection and cell-edge performance to support higher conversion efficiency and energy generation.
The module also offers strong low-irradiance performance, which can help maintain energy generation during mornings, evenings and lower-light conditions.
The Vertex S+ uses light dual-glass construction with:
Front glass: 1.6 mm AR-coated heat-strengthened glass
Back glass: 1.6 mm heat-strengthened glass
The dual-glass design helps reduce susceptibility to rear-side scratches and micro-cracks while maintaining a module weight of 21.0 kg.
The Pmax temperature coefficient is: -0.29%/°C.
A lower power temperature coefficient helps reduce output losses as module temperature increases, making it particularly relevant for rooftop solar systems exposed to warm Australian conditions.
Maximum mechanical load is: 5400 Pa front / 4000 Pa rear.

The uploaded datasheet states IEC 61215 / IEC 61730. It does not specify the “IEC 61215:2021” edition in the datasheet text, so I would only add “IEC 61215:2021” to the Shopify listing if that edition has been separately confirmed for your exact stock.
With 475W output, 23.8% efficiency, N-type i-TOPCon technology and lightweight dual-glass construction, the TSM-475NEG9RH.28 is a strong choice for Australian residential and commercial rooftops where high efficiency, heat performance and long-term durability are priorities.
All our products are covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty, which guarantees that they will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. The specific terms and duration of the warranty may vary depending on the product and the manufacturer. Please refer to the product's documentation or contact our customer support team for detailed warranty information.
Warranty Claim Process
In the unfortunate event that you encounter a faulty product, we want to make the warranty claim process as seamless as possible for you. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
If damage is confirmed to be from normal wear-and-tear, drops, unauthorized repairs, or other non-warranty factors, service and shipping fees will apply. In such cases, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with paid repairs.
Unfortunately we cannot provide loaner units during the warranty repair process. For mission-critical equipment, we highly recommend purchasing backup units to prevent downtime in case of defects.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return:
Upon receiving your order, we kindly request that you thoroughly inspect all packages within 7 days of delivery. This inspection period is crucial as it allows you ample time to identify any visible damage caused during transit. Please keep in mind that promptly reporting any freight damage is vital in safeguarding your right to file a claim and ensuring a swift resolution.
Should you identify any freight damage during the inspection, we urge you to notify us immediately. Our customer support team is ready to assist you through the claim filing process and provide the necessary guidance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The advertised price for this product includes the applicable STC battery rebate, applied as a pre-discount at the time of purchase.
To be eligible for the battery rebate:
Supply-only purchases are not eligible for the battery rebate.
By proceeding with this purchase, the customer agrees to assign all eligible Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) associated with the battery installation to Solar Battery Supermarket (or its nominated agent).
This assignment allows the rebate to be applied as a point-of-sale discount.
If the customer does not agree to assign the STCs, the full non-rebated price of the battery system will apply.
Installation by a licensed and accredited installer is mandatory to qualify for the rebate-adjusted price.
Standard metro installation is available from $500, subject to property assessment.
Additional works (including switchboard upgrades, long cable runs, or non-standard installations) may incur extra charges and will be quoted and approved prior to installation.
To assess eligibility and proceed with installation, the customer may be required to provide:
Failure to provide required information may delay installation or affect rebate eligibility.
