The Trina Solar Panel Vertex S+ TSM-515NEG18R.28 is a 515W N-type i-TOPCon monofacial dual-glass solar panel designed for high-output residential and commercial rooftop systems. It delivers up to 23.2% module efficiency in a 1961 × 1134 × 30 mm format, combining high power with a relatively manageable module size.
The panel uses a black 30 mm anodised aluminium frame, 1.6 mm dual-glass construction and Stäubli EVO2 / EVO2A connectors, making it a practical choice for Australian rooftop projects where power density, durability and system compatibility are important.

The TSM-515NEG18R.28 delivers 515W output with 23.2% module efficiency under STC conditions.
Trina Solar’s patented i-TOPCon technology is designed to improve efficiency through reduced contact resistance, enhanced rear reflection and improved cell-edge performance. The module also uses a low-voltage, high-string-power design intended to support efficient system configuration.
With dimensions of 1961 × 1134 mm and a weight of 23.5 kg, this panel is larger than many standard residential modules but remains suitable for spacious residential roofs and commercial rooftop systems.
In practical Australian installations, it can suit:
Large Colorbond and other metal roofs with compatible rail systems
Concrete or terracotta tiled roofs with sufficient clear roof area
Large residential roof sections where higher wattage per panel is preferred
Commercial and light-industrial rooftops where fewer high-power modules can reduce panel count
Installations using mainstream inverters and mounting systems
These roof-type examples are practical inferences based on the module size, weight and stated system compatibility; the datasheet does not specify individual roof materials.
The module uses:
Front glass: 1.6 mm AR-coated heat-strengthened glass
Back glass: 1.6 mm heat-strengthened glass
The dual-glass design is intended to reduce susceptibility to rear-side scratches and micro-cracks during installation while improving overall module durability.
The Pmax temperature coefficient is: -0.29%/°C.
The operating temperature range is: -40°C to +70°C.
This low temperature coefficient helps limit output losses as panel temperature rises, which is relevant for Australian rooftop systems exposed to high summer temperatures.

Warranty Claim Process
In the unfortunate event that you encounter a faulty product, we want to make the warranty claim process as seamless as possible for you. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
If damage is confirmed to be from normal wear-and-tear, drops, unauthorized repairs, or other non-warranty factors, service and shipping fees will apply. In such cases, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with paid repairs.
Unfortunately we cannot provide loaner units during the warranty repair process. For mission-critical equipment, we highly recommend purchasing backup units to prevent downtime in case of defects.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return:
Upon receiving your order, we kindly request that you thoroughly inspect all packages within 7 days of delivery. This inspection period is crucial as it allows you ample time to identify any visible damage caused during transit. Please keep in mind that promptly reporting any freight damage is vital in safeguarding your right to file a claim and ensuring a swift resolution.
Should you identify any freight damage during the inspection, we urge you to notify us immediately. Our customer support team is ready to assist you through the claim filing process and provide the necessary guidance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The advertised price for this product includes the applicable STC battery rebate, applied as a pre-discount at the time of purchase.
To be eligible for the battery rebate:
Supply-only purchases are not eligible for the battery rebate.
By proceeding with this purchase, the customer agrees to assign all eligible Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) associated with the battery installation to Solar Battery Supermarket (or its nominated agent).
This assignment allows the rebate to be applied as a point-of-sale discount.
If the customer does not agree to assign the STCs, the full non-rebated price of the battery system will apply.
Installation by a licensed and accredited installer is mandatory to qualify for the rebate-adjusted price.
