Compatible with mainstream inverters and mounting systems
The TSM-505NEG10R.28Z delivers 505W output with 24.18% module efficiency under STC conditions.
Trina Solarβs TOPCon 3.0 platform incorporates patented i-TOPCon technology together with zero-gap stacked welding and zero-string-bar technologies. The datasheet also highlights improvements in contact resistance, rear reflection and cell-edge performance.
Trina Solar specifically describes the 2.09 mΒ² module format as suitable for premium Australian rooftops.
Based on its 1842 Γ 1134 mm dimensions, 21.95 kg weight and compatibility with mainstream mounting systems, it can be a practical option for:
Colorbond and other metal roofs using compatible rail mounting
Concrete or terracotta tiled roofs using suitable mounting hardware
Medium to large residential roof sections with clear panel areas
Homes where higher wattage per panel helps make better use of limited north-, east- or west-facing roof space
These roof-type examples are practical installation inferences from the module size and mounting compatibility; the datasheet itself does not specify individual roofing materials.
The module uses 1.6 mm AR-coated heat-strengthened front glass and 1.6 mm heat-strengthened rear glass.
This light dual-glass design helps reduce susceptibility to rear-side scratches and micro-cracks while keeping module weight to 21.95 kg.
The Pmax temperature coefficient is: -0.26%/Β°C.
This helps limit power loss as module temperature rises, an important consideration for solar panels operating on hot Australian rooftops.
Maximum mechanical load is: 5400 Pa front / 4000 Pa rear.

With 505W output, 24.18% efficiency and a relatively compact 1.84 m module length, the TSM-505NEG10R.28Z is well suited to Australian residential projects where installers want high power density without moving to an oversized commercial-format panel. Its low temperature coefficient, dual-glass construction and strong mechanical loading also support reliable long-term rooftop performance.
All our products are covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty, which guarantees that they will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. The specific terms and duration of the warranty may vary depending on the product and the manufacturer. Please refer to the product's documentation or contact our customer support team for detailed warranty information.
Warranty Claim Process
In the unfortunate event that you encounter a faulty product, we want to make the warranty claim process as seamless as possible for you. To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
If damage is confirmed to be from normal wear-and-tear, drops, unauthorized repairs, or other non-warranty factors, service and shipping fees will apply. In such cases, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding with paid repairs.
Unfortunately we cannot provide loaner units during the warranty repair process. For mission-critical equipment, we highly recommend purchasing backup units to prevent downtime in case of defects.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return:
Upon receiving your order, we kindly request that you thoroughly inspect all packages within 7 days of delivery. This inspection period is crucial as it allows you ample time to identify any visible damage caused during transit. Please keep in mind that promptly reporting any freight damage is vital in safeguarding your right to file a claim and ensuring a swift resolution.
Should you identify any freight damage during the inspection, we urge you to notify us immediately. Our customer support team is ready to assist you through the claim filing process and provide the necessary guidance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The advertised price for this product includes the applicable STC battery rebate, applied as a pre-discount at the time of purchase.
To be eligible for the battery rebate:
Supply-only purchases are not eligible for the battery rebate.
By proceeding with this purchase, the customer agrees to assign all eligible Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) associated with the battery installation to Solar Battery Supermarket (or its nominated agent).
This assignment allows the rebate to be applied as a point-of-sale discount.
If the customer does not agree to assign the STCs, the full non-rebated price of the battery system will apply.
Installation by a licensed and accredited installer is mandatory to qualify for the rebate-adjusted price.
Standard metro installation is available from $500, subject to property assessment.
Additional works (including switchboard upgrades, long cable runs, or non-standard installations) may incur extra charges and will be quoted and approved prior to installation.
To assess eligibility and proceed with installation, the customer may be required to provide:
Failure to provide required information may delay installation or affect rebate eligibility.
